Milan, August 10, 2022 – The first half of the year has brought Banca AideXa more positive results and growth indicators. In just six months, the fintech company founded by Roberto Nicastro and Federico Sforza has managed to double its loan disbursements compared to the previous year. The number of clients has also grown, now exceeding 3,000. Excellent results, then, in just one year since receiving the banking license from the ECB: €164 million in loans disbursed and €110 million collected with the X Risparmio deposit account.
The growth of Banca AideXa continues to be fueled by financial products that stand out in the market for their simplicity and speed, as well as investments in proprietary scoring, technologies, and talent. The launch of the proprietary X Score algorithm in early 2022 has further enhanced the speed and ease of access to financing, even for the micro-enterprise segment.
The added value of Banca AideXa's solutions lies in its products designed to support the increasing short-term liquidity needs of Italian SMEs. Among the latest solutions launched by Banca AideXa is X Garantito Extra, a loan that allows SME corporations to receive up to €1 million. The X Risparmio deposit account continues to be highly successful, offering returns of up to 3%, among the most attractive on the market.
Banca AideXa's growth is always supported by the Aidexers, the team that now has 70 employees, with an average age of 35, and consists of highly specialized figures such as software engineers, data scientists, solution architects, business bankers, and marketing experts. The important talent acquisition campaign currently underway targets professional profiles where digital, financial, and tech skills lead the way.
Among the latest developments in August is a significant strengthening of Banca AideXa's primary capital (CET1) with €12 million from investors and promoters.
This first half of 2022 has confirmed our growth trend, and we are ready to scale even further in the second half, thanks to the trust of our shareholders, which supports our growth and investment program.
Among Banca AideXa's upcoming objectives is an expansion of the product portfolio for SMEs, particularly for the micro-enterprise segment.
We will launch a highly innovative product to increase financial inclusion for the heart of the country: the 7 million sole proprietors, freelancers, artisans, small traders, and farmers. This will facilitate their access to credit in the current challenging macro-economic context.
