Milan, July 31, 2024 - Banca AideXa, the fintech bank created to industrialize credit for Italian micro and small enterprises, led by Chairman and Co-Founder Roberto Nicastro and CEO Marzio Pividori, announces the results achieved since the beginning of 2024.

Since the beginning of the year, Banca AideXa increased loans to micro and small enterprises by 31% compared to the end of 2023, reaching a total of €880 million since its foundation in 2020. This achievement is particularly significant considering it is against the trend of the credit crunch affecting the SME credit market in the early months of 2024.

Total deposits and current accounts have reached €550 million, with a particularly significant increase in the no notice deposit account, which reached €130 million just one year after its market launch. This success is attributed to the product's flexibility, fully subscribable online like all AideXa solutions, and its competitive rates.

Since its foundation, Banca AideXa has acquired over 18,000 customers, including more than 5,000 SMEs, highlighting the trust established with the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The pursuit of growth objectives is also reflected in Banca AideXa's capital solidity, with a CET1 Capital of €37 million and a CET1 Ratio of 26% as of June 30, 2024. This solidity is further supported by the fourth funding round completed last May, which brought the fintech’s total capital raised to €96 million in support of growth objectives.

Among the semester results, total revenues as of June 2024 exceed €12.5 million, confirming the positive trend of this scale-up phase.

Growth is also evident in the number of employees, which now approaches 100. The team expansion includes profiles with specialized skills in tech, AI, data, and finance, and aims to strengthen control functions such as AML and Legal to support the increase in managed volumes.

Marzio Pividori, CEO of Banca AideXa: "Banca AideXa’s semi-annual data confirms the positive trend of our growth objectives and the industrialization of credit for Italian micro and small enterprises. We are proud to be a reliable partner for this often overlooked yet crucial segment of the Italian economy and to contribute concretely to its growth in a challenging economic context. By the end of the year, we aim to reach break even and further strengthen our position in the market as a reference bank for micro and small enterprises, continuing to innovate and respond to our customers' needs with increasingly effective and innovative financial solutions."
